We had a major backyard project with 2 pathways leading to a raise fire pit surrounded by crushed slate. There is a poured foundation and birds to keep it level and it was tied into our existing deck for seamless walking. It is beautiful! I can now stroll barefoot from the back door Down the decks, to the center of the yard with the pit all without touching bare ground. Beyond anything we had imagined. The installation was so fast, about a week. Our backyard also is slightly sloped with runoff issues but the entire project was completely level with plenty of drainage. The pit itself is amazing, with a drain in the center to allow water to flow out and away from the area. Danielle and crew were a pleasure to work with, answered all of our questions and concerns, and even came back to help with another unexpected runoff issue. This was done during our currency pandemic and everyone was great about social distancing if we needed to chat outside. They were also completely comfortable with our 3 big dogs, the whole protect was a fabulous experience. I would have not know they were out there working if I didn’t peek my head out the door, they were that quiet. I can’t wait till we have our first big post-covid party to show it off. We would totally hire them again.

We hired City Garden Company to first help us with a complete design plan for our 1960s ranch where we have lived for 12 years. Much of the landscape was outdated, the fence and patio were falling to disrepair and some of the original shrubs and trees were either overgrown or in need of replacement. In addition, we have battled on -going water drainage problems which caused the pine straw in the natural areas to wash away along with drowning our sod. City Garden has provided not only a beautiful plan for us, including hardscape and landscape, but also provided consultation and solutions to the drainage problems. Patrick’s knowledge of landscape design and installation is extensive so the upfront planning time was well worth the investment.

What we love most is that they listen to our ideas, take into consideration our lifestyle and our dogs, and work very hard to create the type of space that feels like home. They have been flexible to work with us in building our new landscape in phases so that we can work within our budget and also minimize disruption for our little dogs. We cannot say enough about the professionalism and attention to quality and detail that this team has. We have been working on our yard in phases and so far each project has come in on budget and on time. The workmanship is incredible and we can’t wait to enjoy our full garden when we’re done. City Garden Company is just awesome!!!

Patrick Bell, Danielle Calenti and the City Garden team delivered a top-notch project for us at our Mid-Century modern home in Atlanta. We ripped out and restructured the entire front yard and planting along the driveway. The project was executed in two phases. During planning we carefully curated plant selection given deer in the neighborhood, and significant variation in light/shade/water conditions around the property. The team sent photos of specimen trees from nurseries for our selection. We used corten steel edging for featured beds along the front walkway. The project came in on time and on budget. We are delighted.
