Clean Mid-Century Modern Landscape Design

In Atlanta’s Morningside neighborhood, this front yard renovation was designed to highlight the clean lines and understated elegance of a classic midcentury modern home. The homeowners wanted a minimalist landscape that would echo the home’s architectural style while remaining low-maintenance and visually striking. Our design approach focused on creating symmetry, structure, and seamless visual flow from the street to the front door.

The design features bold, geometric concrete panel paths set against white gravel, establishing a crisp linear rhythm throughout the yard. Planting beds filled with drought-tolerant, low-profile greenery reinforce the modern aesthetic without overwhelming the space. A custom linear wood screen serves as both a privacy feature and an architectural accent, running parallel to the house to frame the façade and define a secluded outdoor area. The result is a modern landscape that’s both inviting and timeless; an outdoor space that elevates the home’s curb appeal while honoring its midcentury roots.
